About the transaction
The Deloitte Corporate Finance Advisory team (“Deloitte”) in Frankfurt, led by Philipp Gebhard (Managing Director) and Alexander C. Bielig (Managing Director) and supported by Fabian Walisch, Kristian Predojevic and Katharina Kober, successfully advised Daimler AG (the “Company”) in the process of signing a strategic partnership with Infosys Limited (“Infosys”) to transform the IT infrastructure of the Company. The transaction includes the transfer of corresponding assets, people and contracts in 42 countries in Europe, the Americas and the APAC region. Deloitte’s Transaction Services team led by Dennis Tunda supported the creation of the business plan for the transaction.
The Company is in the process of transforming its IT operating model and infrastructure in the areas data centers, networks, SAP Basis, service desk and workplace services. The Company wants to concentrate on software engineering and launch an anytime-anywhere workplace as well as a fully scalable, on-demand digital IT infrastructure. The partnership with Infosys involves smart hybrid clouds, standardized technology stacks, the consolidation of data centers across all regions, Zero Trust networks and cognitive, persona-driven, AI-powered anytime-anywhere workplaces.
