Parquest Capital verkauft FDI an Webhelp
After its spin out from ING Group in April 2014 and its first investment in Polyexpert (one of France’s leading loss adjusters, serving insurance companies, brokers and corporates) in June, Parquest Capital has just sold its controlling stake in FDI Group.
Paris, 9 September 2014. Parquest Capital announces the sale of FDI Group – in which it held a majority stake – to Webhelp Group, a leading European customer relation company. This acquisition will enable the buyer to extend its range of activities using FDI as the development base for the creation of Webhelp Payment Services.
Created 30 years ago in Chambéry, FDI is a leading payment institution specialized in customer credits management and international payment services, with over 300 clients in the luxury sector. The group helps firms in their international growth by optimizing their trade receivables management: analysis and reporting of debtors, credit insurance mediation, automatic invoice process, issuing means of payment, debts collection, management of litigations and compensation.
Since its acquisition through an MBO by Parquest Capital in 2003, FDI’s annual volumes have raised from 680 million euros to 920 million euros (in 2014). « We accompanied and supported FDI during 10 years. During this period FDI has faced a crisis, restructured its economic model and successfully renewed its management. We are delighted that Webhelp has approached us. Being part of this large international group will enable FDI’s teams to further pursue their growth strategy », comments Pierre Decré, partner at Parquest Capital.
