OMMAX advised ARCUS Capital on the sale of 1-2-3.tv

OMMAX supported ARCUS Capital, the independent private equity company based in Munich, which entered into an agreement to sell 1-2-3.tv, a digitally-driven home shopping and inspirational e-commerce specialist to the strategic buyer and leading US media company iMedia Brands.

In preparation for the sale, OMMAX supported ARCUS Capital with a vendor due diligence and examined the company’s digital performance, evaluating dimensions like digital sales channels, customer cohorts and its entire value chain setup. Building on its auction DNA, 1-2-3.TV has built a broad range of live and automated auctions running on its TV channels and digital platforms.

ARCUS Capital was very satisfied with OMMAX’s work. Stefan Eishold, ARCUS’ CEO, on the collaboration: “OMMAX really helped us articulate the strength of 1-2-3.tv’s digital auction platform and its performance across key digital and customer KPIs”.

Dr. Stefan Sambol, Managing Partner at OMMAX, comments: “We’d like to congratulate ARCUS Capital on this transaction. This company offers the buyer iMedia Brands a high-performance auction platform in the home shopping and inspirational e-commerce space at the heart of Europe and with a strong and growing customer base in an attractive demographic.”
